GENERAL INFORMATION:
Q: What is the Rock-A-Thon?
A: Rock-A-Thon is Maple Glen's biggest fundraiser of the year! Students are encouraged to create a fundraising link to share. On September 18, the school celebrates with a dunk tank, games, and fun activities sponsored by the Maple Glen Elementary School PTO.
Q: How does my student participate?
A: Update your child's information here on Membership Toolkit to give credit correctly or create an account for any new Maple Glen students. Then, share with family and friends to reach your goal! Get creative with your fundraising efforts. Every dollar counts!
Q: Where do the donations go?
A: The PTO uses the funds in very specific ways to support all students, staff, and teachers at Maple Glen. These funds fulfill grants, supply everyday school needs, recess and educational materials, special projects, appreciation for staff, and so much more!
Q: What is the timeline?
A: Fundraising begins on Friday, September 4 and continues until Wednesday, September 16 at midnight. Then, the donations are tallied to celebrate together on Friday, September 18 with our school-wide Rock-A-Thon event!
GOALS AND REWARDS:
School-wide Goals: As the fundraising total reaches benchmarks goals, the students will celebrate each reward as a school!
Individual Rewards:
"Tattoo" A Teacher: When your student raises $50, they will be able to select a temporary tattoo and place it in the bucket of the teacher they want to "tattoo!"
Dunk Mr. P: Students who raise $100 will get a chance to dunk our PE teacher, Mr. P., into a dunk tank while being cheered on by their classmates on Rock-A-Thon Day!
Battle Mrs. Buzan: Raise $200 to take on our Principal, Mrs. Buzan, in a head-to-head challenge to see who will be victorious on Rock-A-Thon Day! Qualifiers will be featured on our school's all-new "Boss Battle Board!"
Mystery Squishmallow: Raise $350 to win the ultimate prize - a mystery Squishmallow!
